These videos document some of the key events in Marcello’s life.
These are some memories triggered by a documentary on the Italian Shoah. My family was part of the dramatic and tragic history of the fight agains Nazi-Fascism and paid terrible prices but also left a legacy of civil courage by saving a young jewish girl Nedelia from deportation. The Jewish community of Torino, where we lived, and the State of Israel have recognised their courage and named Righteous among Nations. This the story and more of the sacrifice of my young stepbrother brutally killed as a partisan by the Nazis. Join me in this memory lane, not easy but sobering!
This is a film taken 51-53 years ago in Australia starting in Melbourne where I arrived in July 1970 and I met Renato the day after. When Daniela joined me we started adventures together in times and places which may no longer be as they were.
